When preparing this painting, I was mainly drawn to the pattern of the reflections of the headlights in the grill. These contrast nicely with the matte sheen of the tire. As seen in the photo below, I could have chosen to do the painting of the entire width of the car, but I decided to go for this vertical composition instead.
