This is another painting of the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray also known as the "Split-window". For this composition I deleted the background to concentrate solely on the car. I've done this for some of the motoGP paintings and decided to try it out here. This is another option for commissioned pieces.

The images below the finished painting show some early stages. In this case I first painted the car using black paint only, watered down to produce shades of grey. After that, I painted in the body completely. Finally I added all of the details producing the finished painting.
