This painting of the beautiful Delahaye Torpedo Cabriolet was based almost exactly on my photo taken at the RM Sotheby's auction at Amelia Island in 2014. I changed very little except to remove the people. What interested me most about doing this painting was to capture the reflections in those huge front fenders. This car went on to set the record sale price at the event, 6.6 million.
